3. Conversation: Teacher describes a transparency showing a map of Central America.
4. Read the dialogues on pages 31 & 32 of the Pasos y Puentes textbook.
5. Copy new vocabulary from pages 30, 31 & 32 of the Pasos y Puentes textbook to page 3 of your notes.
6. Complete Page 33, Práctica A in the Pasos y Puentes textbook.
1. Write ten sentences in Spanish using 10 words from today's new vocabulary.
2. Study today's vocabulary for a vocabulary quiz that you will take on Thursday/Friday.

3. Learn how to listen for key information in Spanish.
1. Students read their homework sentences.
2. Write a "dictado". (Teacher reads the sentences that are printed at the top of page 35 in the Pasos y Puentes textbook.)
3. Students correct the sentences of the dictado by viewing the sentences at the top of page 35 in the Pasos y Puentes textbook.
4. Silent written work: Complete Page 33, Práctica A and Page 34, Práctica C.
5. Practice with the tape program. (If you were absent you will not be able to make this assignment up, but you should ask the teacher for the worksheets that were handed out to the class. These worksheets are to be placed in the "Para practicar de escuchar" section of your notebook.)
6. Answer the questions on page 35, Práctica E in the Pasos y Puentes textbook.
7. Play "Silla Caliente". (You just missed out on this if you were absent.)
8. Take notes: "Methods to study new vocabulary". (Barrow and copy someone's notes if you were absent.)
1. Complete Hoja de Repaso, Página 5 y Página 6, parte B.
2. Study your vocabulary notes for a quiz on Thursday/Friday
